The Subdirectorate of Cultural Industries and Arts of Peru organized the Musical Residency program “Tejido Vivo: Creation and musical identities in Latin America” as part of the 2018 Artistic Training Program. During the month of August a diverse group of musicians and Latin American artists was convened in the Arín (Calca – Cusco) location.
Within the activities we carry out presentations, talks, sound walks, field recording, improvisation and development of musical pieces. This collective work has served to stimulate creation and promote the development of artistic potential in the Cusco region. The residence was directed by Juan Ibarlucía and Ignacio Cruz (AR).
