Ignis Fatuus

𝙄𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙨 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙪𝙨 is a collection of acousmatic pieces and soundscapes created within the Medienfrische artist residency program in Tyrol (2023). It focuses mainly on field recordings (biophonies, birds, machines and dialogues) digitally processed through editing, synthesis and other timbral transfiguration techniques. The construction of the work takes advantage of the inherence of each sound element, the echo and memory of the recorded source, its place and time.
